The Tri-State Stroke Network
Welcome to the Tri-State Stroke Network website. Our mission is to support stroke prevention and control by increasing public awareness of the signs and symptoms of stroke, the need to treat stroke as a medical emergency and addressing the geographic disparity in stroke deaths in the Tri-State area.
The 5 Warning Signs & Symptoms of Stroke Are: 1) Sudden numbness or weakness in the face or one side of the body; 2) Sudden confusion or difficulty speaking; 3) Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes; 4)  Suden trouble walking, dizziness or loss of balance; 5) Sudden severe headache with no known cause
