The 5 Warning Signs & Symptoms of Stroke Are: 1) Sudden numbness or weakness in the face or one side of the body; 2) Sudden confusion or difficulty speaking; 3) Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes; 4)  Suden trouble walking, dizziness or loss of balance; 5) Sudden severe headache with no known cause

Best Practices and Prevention

  • Purpose: Identify and promote best practicies in  prevention and treatment for replication across state lines.
  • Current Project: Design and guide the implementation of the TSSN Worksite Wellness Project.

Awareness & Advocacy

  • Purpose: Increase awareness of the burden of stroke (health, economic, social) among key decsion makers to promote policy and systems change
